Rear view This is the rear of the 6-bay case. Refer to the following table for more information.

Item Description Function
A Power connector Plug the power cord into this connector.
B Voltage switch Before turning on your computer, make sure that this switch is in the correct position, 115 or 230, for the correct power available. The switch is preset at the factory with the correct voltage for your area.

In the United States, where the utility power is supplied at a nominal 115 volts at 60 Hz, set the switch to 115.
In other areas of the world, such as Europe, where the utility power is supplied at 230 volts at 50 Hz, set the switch to 230.

C Case cover thumbscrew Remove the two thumbscrews before removing the case's left side panel.
D Computer label This label provides FCC information, the model number, and the serial number.
E Kensington® lock slot Secure your computer to an object by connecting a Kensington cable lock to this slot. When a lock is used, the case cover cannot be removed.
F Ports Allow you connect a variety of external devices including a keyboard, mouse, and monitor.
G Chassis fan vent Exhaust vent for the chassis fan. Do no block this or any other case vent.
H Certificate of Authenticity label Provides the product identification number for the Microsoft Windows® operating system originally installed on the hard drive.
I Add-in card slots Install add-in cards, such as a modem or video card, in these slots.
J Add-in card retention door thumbscrew The thumbscrew secures the add-in card retention door closed. Remove the screw and open the door when adding or replacing add-in cards.
