Remove the drive
- Remove the case cover.
- Remove the front bezel.
- Inside the case, lift up the drive cage assembly.

- Disconnect the power and controller cables from the rear of the drive.

- Lower the drive cage assembly, and then unlock the release lever marked CD/DVD drive.

Note: When lowering the drive cage assembly, ensure that the cables under it are flat and do not get pinched.
- From the front of the case, pull the drive out.

Replace the drive
- Inside the case, ensure that the release lever marked CD/DVD drive is in the unlocked position.

- At the front of the case, slide the drive into the bay.

- Lock the CD/DVD drive release lever.

- Lift up the drive cage assembly, and then connect the controller and power cables to the drive.
- Lower the drive cage assembly.
Note: When lowering the drive cage assembly, ensure that the cables under it are flat and do not get pinched.
- Replace the front bezel.
- Replace the case cover.
