These are the front USB ports on the front of the Aegis desktop E-Series tower case. With the proper driver for the installed operating system (Microsoft® Windows® XP or Windows 2000), these ports are USB 2.0 compliant. When the USB 2.0 driver is not installed, set the BIOS of the installed motherboard to high-speed USB disabled. This setting defaults the USB ports to USB 1.1 compliance.
If the computer's configuration does not include front USB ports, a black USB insert is used to cover the opening. |
