Q: How is the power supply removed and replaced in a St. Francis or St. Francis E Mid-tower case?

A: Remove the power supply

  1. Turn off the computer, disconnect the power cord, and then remove the side service panel.

  2. Inside the case, disconnect the power supply cables from all components.

  3. At the front end of the power supply, flip the power supply retention clip down.

  4. Slide the power supply toward the front of the case, and then remove it from the case.

Replace the power supply

  1. Ensure that the power supply retention clip is down.

  2. Align the power supply against the top, inside of the case, and then slide it toward the rear of the case into place.

  3. Flip the power supply retention clip up until it clicks into place, securing the power supply.

  4. Reconnect the power supply cables to all internal components.

  5. Replace the side service panel.
