G - Parallel ATA IDE Connector

This is the parallel ATA IDE connector on the motherboard. This connector is used for all IDE devices, most commonly hard drives or CD/DVD drives. The connector supports up to two IDE devices.
A wide white marking near pin 1 indicates it location (lower right pin in this graphic). |
